News from Eze (22nd June, morning)
Training camp in Riva del Garda Europeans and Worlds Team
Dear All,
As I learnt to say in Switzerland...”Tip top” conditions on day one:
The day started with quite a lot of work to do, as we had to make the shopping, unload the boats, prepare the equipment, etc.
After during that, we have a great pasta lunch at Fraglia Vela Riva, and at 14.00 the team went sailing on splendid 18-20knt and 30 degrees temperature.
Although the wind decreased to 12-15 knt, sailors had a great session, as they sailed for 3 ½ hours, first concentrating on maneuvers and boat handling, and later racing against some Italians and a very strong Brazilian sailor, already arrived to prepare the Euros as well.
The highlights of the day were for the “Lemaniques” Seb Schneiter(2-1-5) Victor Casas (1-4-5), and Jocelyn Keller (5-3-1).
Nevertheless, I’m quite satisfied with the level of the whole team. There’s are great spirit, and everyone is willing to improve.
